Since the time I have been using Cairo Dock, I have always liked how the icons move around in 3D cube while mouse-ing over.
Now that I have started using Samsung Galaxy S4 and beginning to like and love the air-view, I was wondering, if it would be too hard to create an icon replacement application for S4/android to do the same?
Please let me know.

a simple launcher maybe, but all the applets and the interaction with Dbus/X/many-other-linux-components is almost impossible |

Note that Android is running with a Linux Kernel and a WM, a bit like any Linux distribution but the permissions, the right, etc. are really different.
It's maybe possible to port to Android but I guess it'll not be so quick and easy but it's maybe possible to port it to Ubuntu Touch (Ubuntu phone)
But if someone wants to try, feel free to ask any questions here |
