Hello guys,
I love cairo dock on my ubuntu 12.10, cairo dock + gnome shell but I'm just missing the dash home button (SUPER -shortcut key-) from gnome shell, where you can just type in a word all you need.
I've read this tip for Unity here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2000215 , it's possible something like this into Gnome-Shell ¿?
- Cairo-Dock version: 3.1.99.rc2.
- GNU/Linux distribution: Ubuntu 12.10.

Hi.
I love cairo dock and use it by choice on my Ubuntu 14.10 system.
The one thing I miss though is the search feature (not the launcher) of Gnome or Ubuntu.
I am not a programmer but can poke around a bit. I would like to compile cairo-dock with support for the Gnome Dash search fundction. i saw the source files under the "implementations" directory. The ones that deal with gnome-shell-integration which have a couple of functions like "_show_dash" and "_hide_dash" but poking around did not do the trick.
Would love some pointers on how I could go about this.
Also I have tried synapse but with Ubuntu 14.10 it segfaults.
Thanks in advance |
