Hello,
I am new to this project, but we hope poderos provide the maximum possible. To do so, following our Spanish community of ubuntu a series of surveys has concluded that merging the dash of unity with direct invocation cairo would increase the number of users.
The operation is as follows.
A. - Lock bar to install cairo unity.
2. - When you click on the icon of ubuntu (in this case) instead of going down a menu that comes out the dash of unity.
So we've created a mockup.

I think it would be possible without many changes in code point 2, the first if you need something more.
A Greeting. |

I'm all OK to be able to launch the Dash from the dock.
the only question is: is it possible to invoke the Dash from something else than the default Unity dock ?
or even better, outside of a Unity session ? |

It would be possible to invoke it in unity but only under unity only, since it works under the environment of unity as a manager. So I recommend another Synapse line, invoking possible application in any system with a single installation and serving the same purpose and aesthetics similar. |

The problem is that we can't have the Unity Dash without its dock. But it can be interesting to report a bug to Unity devs to have the possibility to only have the dash (e.g. having a command to display this dash) or to only have the dash and its top panel |
