i just installed cairo-dock on my kubuntu 12.04 (via ubuntu repo, v3.0.0) and is working just fine.
i installed the translator applet, (using the link in this page:http://www.glx-dock.org/mc_album.php?a=8)
and it's look like the applet is missing some icons (too many red X'es insteed of icons).

Hello,
It seems you need to have these icons in your icons theme (or icons with these names in ~/.config/cairo-dock/current_theme/icons/): gtk-clear, stock_refresh, cancel
What's the output messages of this command launched from a terminal? |

gtk should be installed along with the dock, and "gtk-clear" is the correct name for the icon GTK_STOCK_CLEAR
but "stock_refresh" and "cancel" are definitely not, we should use gtk-refresh and gtk-cancel in the applet's code ! |

actually, "cancel" should be taken as the default "cancel" button common to all dialogs, so it should have worked.
I didn't think of it at first |
