Hello,
I'm using Cairo-Dock 3.0.0 on Xubuntu 12.04. I've set the musicPlayer applet to work with gmusicbrowser 1.1.9. When I click on it for the first time after opening Cairo-Dock, everything works perfectly. However, if I close gmusicbrowser and try to open it again clicking on the applet, nothing happens. Otherwise, the applet works OK, if I open gmusicbrowser from somewhere else (controls, covers, info, show windows, etc).
I tried running cairo-dock from a terminal to see if I get any error, but I got no output when I clicked on the applet.
Reloading the applet fixes this.
Thanks! |

ok, mine is 1.1.7 and the time was not displayed on the icon (a bug in gmusicbrowser, it seems like it has been fixed)
I won't be here for a week, so I'll try to fix it after if noone did it before |

It did display the time here when I was using Xubuntu 11.10 with gmusicbrowser 1.1.7 and cairo-dock 2.4.0.
Anyways, bon vacances! |

I can't reproduce this bug. All work perfectly on my system (Cairo-Dock 3.0.1, gmusicbrowser 1.1.9 and CD session on Precise).
Did you active MPRIS v2 on Configuration>Plugin ? MPRIS v1 don't need to be selected.
Edit : Sorry I read to fast your bug report. It's true, all work perfectly with the first launch. But we can't launch again with Music controller. However, this bug don't appear with Sound controller.
mine is 1.1.7 and the time was not displayed on the icon (a bug in gmusicbrowser, it seems like it has been fixed) I confirm, fixed on my system .
Note : It miss a feature with Music-controller and Sound-controller, the possibility to quit an application who used the systray (with a entry menu). |

indeed, we probably need to add a "quit" entry in the right-click menu, to be able to quit the application if its window is already closed (= in the systray). that's a TODO |

@Guest: Thank you for this bug report (but feel free to create a new topic for each bug )
Are you using the MPRIS2 plugin of GMusicBrowser or not?
Can you launch the dock with this command from a terminal? cairo-dock -l debug --colors | sed -n "/musicPlayer\// {N;p;}" Which messages do you have when you click on musicPlayer's icon? |
