Hi!
I'm using old notification area (NA) as a desklet. It's placed in the top right corner of the screen. The problem is that after system restart right corner of the NA is shifting to the left, and I have to left-alt-click-it to the "correct" position The offset value depends on how much icons I have before and after rebooting (it's almost always not equal). I'm using single monitor. If I place NA in the left top area the coordinates in the desklet settings is '0,0'. Right now I have 7 icons there, and coordinates is '-164,0'.
It would be nice to have an option to set which screen side NA desklet will use as a start point, so icons count won't affect its position.

Hello,
Is seems it's linked to this bug report: http://www.glx-dock.org/tt_task.php?p=2&t=223
Can you confirm that you also have this bug when using 'Show all desklets' (ShowDesktop option)? |

I have the same problem and I have it from the moment I started using Cairo Dock 2 years back. Is something being done to fix it? |

@ new guest: with which version? Did you try with the 3.0.2 version? |

Of course. I am running Arch, so I always have the newest version.
On top of shifting after restart, the tray dock also shifts if I click on some of the tray icons. Each click causes it move 2cm closer to the centre. |
