My laptop has an Intel on-board graphics processor. I'm trying to run Cairo without OpenGL in Xubuntu 11.10. In fact, the menu option even says not to run it in OpenGL. I tried running it with:
And got:
(cairo-dock:11648): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Window system doesn't support OpenGL.
Is it even possible to run this or am I going to have to remove it? I've been trying to get it to work for about five hours. |

Hello,
I think you've this warning because Cairo-Dock has been compiled with GtkGLExt. Even if you use the Cairo backend, GtkGLExt library is loaded and this is why you've this warning (but be sure that you don't use any OpenGL functions ) |

really ?
what does not work ? you can just start it from the menu, there should be 2 entries, one with OpenGL the other without. |
