Hello,

My first post here.

Problem - First I installed via bzr (2.5 alpha), for several month cairo-dock is ok. Yesterday accidentally upgraded via aptitude (dist-upgrade) and v2.4 was installed. Thinking that it's ok, I uninstalled bzr. Now all plug-ins have this problem. I did not post the whole error since it shows similar error that Cairo-dock is in v2.5.0.0alpha1.

    Cairo-Dock version: 2.4.0~2
    Compiled date: Nov 25 2011 20:01:44
    Running with OpenGL: 1

warning : (/home/dodjie/Downloads/cairo-dock-core/src/gldit/cairo-dock-module-manager.c:cairo_dock_load_module:166)
"this module ('/usr/lib/cairo-dock/libcd-desklet-rendering.so') was compiled with Cairo-Dock v2.4.0~2, but Cairo-Dock is in v2.5.0.0alpha1
It will be ignored"

Note - OS -> Debian Squeeze
Graphic - nVidia Corporation G98M [GeForce G 105M]

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Oh it's not a good idea to install Cairo-Dock from several ways (deb packages and by compiling it).
If you want to install the stable version, I think it's maybe better to remove all files about Cairo-Dock and then reinstall it
sudo rm -rf /usr/include/cairo-dock /usr/lib/libgldi.so* /usr/share/cairo-dock /usr/lib/cairo-dock
sudo apt-get install --reinstall cairo-dock cairo-dock-core cairo-dock-data cairo-dock-plug-ins cairo-dock-plug-ins-data cairo-dock-plug-ins-integration

Thanks, will try this solution. Actually, I did not install it from several ways, as stated in my first post, was accidentally upgraded via aptitude dist-upgrade to v2.4 where I have it working for several month in v2.5 alpha.

Anyway, still have several error but I will figure this out somehow.
