Hello everybody!
I installed the latest cairo dock release and i always log in to "cairo dock with gnome" session. Since i use the "oneiric" theme could you tell me ho i can remove the superior panel and use only oneiric?
I'll try to explain better: I want to replace the superior panel with oneiric theme panel as you can see from this picture:

In short I wish my desktop were like this

Is there a way to remove that panel?
Thank you very much in advance |

Hi matttbe!
Well, I added your ppa but unfortunately that panel remains and I also tried to install the deb packages of nautilus but nothing.. By the way since I need to format Ubuntu 11.10 do you think that after i reinstalled cairo dock on it that panel disappears?
Once installed ubuntu 11.10 I used to install cairo dock (together with gnome shell and gnome fallback) in this way:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cairo-dock-team/ppa
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback
sudo apt-get install cairo-dock
sudo apt-get install cairo-dock-plug-ins
In your opinion is this way right or there's something else that i can do? |

By the way since I need to format Ubuntu 11.10 do you think that after i reinstalled cairo dock on it that panel disappears? Only if you use the version of nautilus on my ppa or if you wait for the new version of nautilus...
Once installed ubuntu 11.10 I used to install cairo dock (together with gnome shell and gnome fallback) in this way: If you want a Cairo-Dock session (without Unity, Gnome Shell and the new locked Gnome-Panel (gnome-session-fallback), only with Cairo-Dock), simply install 'cairo-dock' packages |

Hi mattbe!
Now it works perfectly so that panel finally is disappears. I added your ppa for first and then i installed the debugging version of your nautilus I tried to install the normal version (so not debugging) but it said me that i was in conflict with nautilus or something like that i don't remember.. maybe because I had to uninstall my nautilus version for first, i don't know..
by the way now oneiric theme works perfectly. matttbe you are great as always and thank you very much for all!!!
bye! |

You're welcome
But about the debbuging package, you can remove this package which is a bit useless for you I guess (except if you want to use gdb in order to fix a crash oin the code of nautilus ): nautilus-dbg |

Oh, so do you advice me to remove "nautilus-dbg" package and i have to install only "nautilus_3.2.1-0ubuntu2~matttbe~oneiric0_amd64.deb" (i have ubuntu 11.10 64 bit)? I tried to install it but ubuntu software center say me: "the package nautilus violates the conflict of existing package: nautilus ()". I suppose this message appears because I have to uninstall my current version of nautilus for first and then install your "nautilus_3.2.1-0ubuntu2~matttbe~oneiric0_amd64" package. Am I right?
sorry and thank you for your patience matttbe |

It's maybe better to add my ppa in order to install all dependences (libnautilus, etc.).
But this patch is currently available in oneiric-proposed repository and it should be available in oneiric-update soon. |

Ok, I added your ppa and now everything works perfectly. Thank you very much matttbe! |
