Hi there
I reduced the size of my icons on the dock from 64x64 to 32x32. Then around some icons the background does not appear. This problem disappears when bringing the dock on focus with a zoom effect. When resting again, it takes a second before the background disappears around those icons again. The icons are all made of svg files. It occurs with a launcher (firefox) and an applet (clock), the issue is more consistent with the latter than with the former. It occurs both with and without OpenGL.
Any idea?

Hello,
Thank you for this bug report. Is it possible to share with us a screencast (you can do it with gtk-recordmydesktop and drop the video file on the Drop to Share applet ). It's just to know exactly what's wrong and to see the difference |

Wow, this is new to me: i've never used any drop-box or anything like that, but it's cool
The problem appears only when the dock is stretched to fill the whole screen:

Only with the Clock applet? Can you try with some applets like System-Monitor, Wifi, MusicPlayer, Stack, etc.?
BTW: nice theme again |

Well as you can see (or rather not see): the network monitor applet icon is missing in that situation.
All other applets work fine otherwise |

The background also disappearing when the icon is solicited.
Check it out: http://videobin.org/+4bn/4ob.html

Sorry i keep them coming, but here is another situation with a similar bug. In this case it's not while clicking on the applet, it is continuously in state of appearing / disappearing. Hovering on the applet seems to restore background while removing the cursor seems to make the background fall away.

You will notice another bug too: which is the text of the clock applet increasing and decreasing in size. The applet overall seems very buggy when in digital mode. I'll post a separate thread on that one. |

Yes it seems there are a few bugs with a tiny view. I think that nochka has already tested it and maybe he can confirm or say something else about that |

weird, do you think it's related to the panel view, or having very small icons or very big zoom ? |

It doesn't seem to be size specific, here is a 64x64 example:
