The only icon I have in SysTray is Opera and there should be WICD and other stuff that runs at system startup.
Why is this and how do I fix it?

Arch 64
XFCE
Compiz
CD 2.2.0-4

And when will you add email notifications of thread replies on this forum?

It has been done a long time ago

Maybe because the systray of CD is launched after another one or maybe because Wicd client is launched before CD and Wicd doesn't check after that if a systray has been launched.

Yeah, I got email notification. Haven't been here for a while.

How can I run CD before anything else?

By launching Wicd and other stuff with a delay? e.g.
sh -c "sleep 15 && wicd-client"

But are you sure that any other systray's are launched before CD?

I also have this problem with missing icons : When I start RecordMyDesktop, the "stop" icon isn't present in the "systray" (<- I double-quote because µI still waiting for THE real systray ) .... but this icon is present when I use the gnome systray

PS : This icon disapeared when I've passed from 32bits (with my old PC) to 64bits with the new one .... perharps the problem is only on 64bits systems ?

Sure? Or is it present in the notification applet? => What do you have with a right click on this icon?
And what do you have if you launch "Status Notifier" Cairo-Dock's applet?
