Hi,
for last few days i noticed that my shortcuts in cairo-dock are openning vlc. Have no idea when it started. I reinstalled vlc but the problem remains. If i uninstall vlc shortcuts are opening folders as they should do.
Any idea?
Ubuntu 10.04 64bit, cairo 2.1.3-10 (have some problems with intel 4500 graphics so i don´t install the new version) |

Hello,
It's a problem with gvfs: with Nautilus do a right click / Properties / Open With (=> select nautilus)
PS: the latest stable release is the 2.2.0-4 => From the repository |

Can you try to do that with Nautilus:- Click on the "Computer" icon (or go to this address computer:/// or open the ALT+F2 menu and launch this command: nautilus computer:///)
- Do a right click on the Filesystem icon (/) / Properties / Open With (=> select nautilus or File Browser or...)

This is a known bug. Open "Computer" from the Places location, (or just run nautilus from the Alt+F2 "command" box). Now, navigate to your home directory, then right click any directory within it, and choose "Open With"-"Open with other application"; in the box that pops up, choose "File Browser". thanks for sharing with us!
