Hi
How do I change the animation for when an icon is drag-and-droped moved somewhere else in the dock? It bounces as default.
I am able to change all other animations except this in the configuration panel.
I'm running Debian 6 Squeeze with GNOME and Metacity.
I using the cairo-dock package version 2.1.3.10-4 from the original Debian 6 Squeeze repository. |

this one is hard-coded
you will see it so rarely that I found useless to add an additional option. |

Oh OK. Rarely? I see it a hundred of times a day. I often move the icons and work a lot.
Is it possible for me to hard-code to use pulse instead or to remove the animation? |

oh sorry, I didn't think one might to move icons so ofte, but I guess you're talking about the taskbar icons ? that would make sense indeed.
yes you can replace "bounce" by "pulse" in the code in cairo-dock-core/src/gldit/cairo-dock-callbacks.c (line 1154 in the current trunk, the line is likely to have changed but the file is the same I think). |

Don't worry. I often do things a bit differently.
I may take the some time to change this in the future, but I'm not a programmer.
Is there a wish list that I can add this to?
Thanks for the great software! Using it daily now. |
