I understand that fabounet and that is the whole point of this post.Maybe you have forgotten but my first question was actually whether you could implement this feature into cairo or not.Thats the whole point is it possible to implement this feature because the option that is provided "choose image" is of no use if the image is then rendered so badly. So it means if someone like me wants to change the look of the separator he basically cant because its going to look ugly.Hmm thats a pity seriously.Too bad

well there are some limits to anything
but in this particular case, you want a flat separator and it's already possible, so I don't really see the problem

fabounet :
but there is no bug here.
you are just no using the option as it should be.
again, the "image" option is not available if you select the "flat separator" mode, so you are not supposed to expect the image to be used with this mode.

Just take a look :

OK i come here and show that in non-glmode physical separators make the dock woobly

http://uppix.net/1/f/9/bda335a5ec160dcd7bd62e3c5e8db.png

and in gl mode the dock borders are drawn even if there is the physical separators

ok so the separators could be drawn a little bit better, but this is different from the first bug report

the first one was about how to draw the image of a separator that is an image.
currently it is drawn like any other icon (with a reflect)
