When i chasnge the image of the separator to look like the one in mac i see that its not placed flatly on the dock i mean this:

I just got criticized on deviant-art for the separator looking ugly in the dock and it really does.Will you finally pay some more attention to this bug people  |

I personnally can't reproduce this bug (either witjh or without OpenGL)
do you have it with the default theme too ?

It doesnt matter what theme i use and whether it is open Gl or not it looks always like this when i choose an image for the separator

hmm, but it seems like it's not a separator with an image, it's the "flat" separator, isn't it ?
could you please check your config ? |

No i am telling you that is an image if you dont believe me then take look at a screenshot i found in the sreenshots section on this forum it is from the japanese theme or so

It is obvious that wheni choose an image for the separator instead that the image is render just like the flat separator (what is logical) it is renderd as an icon(which means its not placed flatly on the dock background ; it has its own reflection just like the icons etc.)
Now i dont know if that is a bug(and especially if it only occurs to me) or if this has been implemented like this.If the latter then it really makes no sense at all that the separator is rendered as an icon.I really hope that you understand now what the problem is. |

if you want a flat separator, just use the "flat separator" option 
the image is used for the "normal" separator.
in the config window, the image option should be unsensitive if the "normal" separator is not selected. that's maybe where the bug is, if it's not the case. |

I really cant believe that you dont understand what i mean i want the flat separator but i dont want to use the default one i want to be able to set an image of my choice which is going to be placed also separately |

One guy on deviant-art spoke to me and sad that as long as you dont fix the thing with the separator he is going to use docky.See i am not the only one pissed off by the lack of options for better separator customizing!If you dont believe me here you go
Notice its at the time when i thought that this is just a plain bug and that you would fix it!!! |

but there is no bug here.
you are just no using the option as it should be.
again, the "image" option is not available if you select the "flat separator" mode, so you are not supposed to expect the image to be used with this mode. |
