Hello everyone!
I'm using latest betas of the CD with gnome and Compiz, and I noticed small annoying bug with sub-dock launchers.
I'm using dock on the right side of the screen. When sub-dock contains 3 or more items there are some offset for click events. So that when you try to click on the left side of the left most launcher icon you will not be able to start the application. You must move the mouse to the right side of the icon in order to launch the application. Similarly when you try to click on the left side of the neighbor launcher you will start the left most launcher.
Not sure whether my explanation is good enough - but this is really annoying bug. |

I guess you will have to give more informations, like sub dock type, and maybe a screen.
I use almost the same config on the left (and just tested it on the right) without problem (if I understood the horizontal mouse/icon offset). You can look my screen here |

Thank you for this bug report.
As SQP said, some informations can be interesting: can give us a link to a screencast which shows the problem? You can use gtk-recordmydesktop and "drop and share" applet to upload you file on a server. |

Hmmmm, it's weird that you don't experience same bug as I can reproduce it on 2 different systems.
Nevertheless, have a look at my screencast at http://db.tt/gDyxnn. Every mouse stop means click - when I click on eclipse launcher it doesn't react, and when I click on the left side of the thunderbird icon eclipse launcher reacts to it. |

I can confirm it in parabolic view (the slide view I use is OK) there can be a few pixels difference between icon position and mouse click |
