I let it be for few days and tried configuring Icons again this morning - it did not crash.
I have a question, though, as I was unable to find this switch - how do I make opened applications appear in the task bar even if their launcher is present in the task bar as well? |

In the taskbar module of the config panel (advanced mode), you can disable the mix between applications and launchers |

I am not asking to guide my own decision cause I already have my own preference. I am just curious what people here are using. |

oh, in this case most of us are under Ubuntu or Arch, with 1 Open-Suse (for debugging  ) |
