Hi there!!
I usually have two or three different usb hdds connected to my laptop. My problem is that, after I unmount them, I cannot tell which one is which, when I want to remount them. This is because the "shortcuts" applet shows one disc as "discard" and the other one, which has many partitions, it shows as "250GB Hard Disk-1", "250GB Hard Disk-2", etc.
It would be very helpful if the "shortcuts" applet did not lose the original name of the disk or partition (for example "'PartitionName', not mounted").
Also, it would be nice if the "get disk info" command actually provided some info like "sda1" or something more informative than "250GB Hard Disk-1, not mounted"... |

Actually, I have completely replaced both default gnome docks with cairo-dock. To browse the filesystem, I use the applet "Quick Browser", which works perfectly and much more quickly than the original "places", because it goes down to sigle file detail. Brilliant. Nautilus is fine, as usual. |
