I was wondering, is there a way to access the "recent documents" menu, after you remove the gnome panel?

Messages : 3520 		there is an applet for Gnomenu in the latest version of CD that contains the "recent items"

you need to install gnomenu separately though

But GnoMenu can also help.

Messages : 12 		Thanks, by installing the latest version (weekly repository for ubuntu), the GMenu applet has the "recent documents" link!!
