So it seems that XFCE remembers running applications and it launches them after the next boot. Or maybe something else launches CD at startup...
For me it's not a CD bug... Maybe due to XFCE or something else.

To me it looks like something is triggering that first-time startup after cd installation. You are once asked if you want to use opengl, and if you say not, than it is not started any more.

matttbe, you were right-i unchecked my startup script and i really had conky and cairo-dock started (conky disappears after clicking on it).
Any clue where can i find those startup scripts, or where to find help? Or should i post therad on ubuntuforums?

You have this box when you start CD with this command without any other options:
cairo-dock
So I suppose that one time, your session was saved and XFCE tries to launch 'cairo-dock' again but it doesn't know which extras options are needed.

Maybe the config pannel of XFCE doesn't work well or something else. So yes, it's maybe better to post this thread on ubuntuforums or on IRC (on freenode.net, canal #xubuntu or #xfce)

Well i try to reinstall cairo-dock, but everything is the same-as cairo-dock is deeply in xfce memorized.
I post a thread on ubuntuforums.org, so i?l see what can i find there.
Thanks

Workaround: i changed my startup script:
#!/bin/sh
sleep 1 && killall cairo-dock
xrandr --output LVDS1 --off --output VGA1 --mode 1366x768 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal
conky &
sleep 5 && cairo-dock -c

Now i killed that initial cairo-dock start, and after screen switching i have no pop up window.

Still, this is only workaround-and i have no idea why i can not kill that cairo-dock at start?

I think if you just quit cairo-dock, and disable the XFCE option to remember running applications on startup, and then close your session, it will probably not be launched on the next login.
maybe some XFCE users could help you more than us.

I tried that, but nothing. I should disable that in logout window? I unchecked that option, but it runs cairo-dock again

You can also try to quit Cairo-Dock, enable the XFCE option to remember running applications on startup, restart your session and disable this previous option.

Thanks matttbe, that was it-i did that, and now have no problems at all-i even disabled in my script option killall cairo-dock and now xubuntu starts cd as it should do.

Thanks again for help!
