Is there any possibility to remove an unwanted separator?

which one?
if it is one you added yourself you can right-click and delete it
if not you can go in the config and there are some option to click. I am not in front of a computer with a dock so can't be too precise |

it's called work... I have a la[top with Suse SLED10 on it and the libraries are too old for the dock!
Good enough for an excuse?  |

OK, thanks,
i had one added by myself and two built-in separators next to each other. I clicked right on one of them and there was no option to delete it, so I thought that it is not possible to delete separators this easy way. Now I know, I clicked the wrong one. I have now deleted the one I created and everything is fine  |

well I don't make the IT decision in my company....they will probably rollout sled11 by the time 12 is out!
Still I have a Linux laptop at work so I am not going to complain and SLED10 works well |

Yes you can use Linux at work! (Me too: at the university, we can choose between Fedora or XP (which is buggy and unsecured ))
But, do you know Virtualbox?  |

Yes I have Virtualbox at home to run XP so I can update my Logitech remote control!
Actually at work I could get Vista installed in Vmware but so far I haven't seen the use for it
PS: actually I am going to get SLED10 SP2 soon and I think it might then be possible to install the dock |

Yes but you can install Ubuntu in Vmware to get the dock 
PS: actually I am going to get SLED10 SP2 soon and I think it might then be possible to install the dock

I must admit that when I go away on business trip it is strange to be away form the dock for a log time....
One day I even launched it from my hotel via ssh (it worked by the way!). I should try again now that Opengl is supported.
it would be interresting to see the dock running with my ATI card on my laptop |

@ ppmt : It seems that you can install Cairo-Dock 2 since OpenSuSE 10.3.
I have updated the wiki : OpenSuSE repository (en) or Dépôt Opensuse (fr)

eh ?
in slide view of dock you can't right click on the separator to remove it.
here the way ..
first, right click on it and choose configure.
then, move to appereance tab, look to the views.
and the last you can change the view to the "default" mode.
last one, click apply.
so, you just right click on the separator and choose to delete it.
done

in 2.5, separators are handled much more nicely in the Slide view |
