Hi,
For the last couple weeks now, the weather docklet does not display weather. The icon was essentially blank. When I drag it to the desktop to show the "window" the window shows reload and return-to-dock icons, a border and background, but no content.
When I click on it, or ask it to refresh, a tool tip tells me "No data available, retrying." Doesn't help.
When I right-click and choose "Open weather.com" it does open it, using the city code that I've entered.
I've quit and restarted. I've logged out and on. I've rebooted. I've quit, deleted the config and restarted. I've double-checked my code on weather.com, copied it into the location code field.
Was having the issue with 3.2, updated, still having issues with 3.4 from the suggested PPA.
Is it possible that weather.com blocks the applet? Are there known work-arounds or fixes?
Using Mint, Gnome, Caja, high end machine, mega-fast connection.
Thanks. |

The Weather docklet exhibits the exact same behavior here... Using Linux Mint 13 (LTS) and GLX-Dock "3.4.99 alpha 1". Please, somebody fix this thing! (Still a problem, as of July 2nd, 2016). |
