Hi.

  • OS:
~$ lsb_release -ri
Distributor ID:    Ubuntu
Release:    14.04

  • ver:
~$ cairo-dock -v
3.3.2

  • desktop environment: unity (compiz)

  • not using opengl

When I fire-up cairo-dock, I get a main panel, and an Indicator-Generic dock overlaid on top of it.

I wish to disable the latter. I can successfully remove it, but if I restart cairo-dock, it reverts back to displaying the Indicator-Generic dock.

How can I persist cairo-dock's configuration and prevent it from displaying the unwanted dock on startup?

Thanks!
