I'm using Cairo Dock 3.4.99.alpha1 on Kubuntu 14.10 with OpenGL, my window manager's kwin and my DE is KDE 4.

I notice no mater how I set up the options in the Dialoge Boxes and Menus section of Appearances, when I right click on a docked icon, the menu bubble has this transparent area with a black border around the entire menu bubble. Dosen't matter if I choose modern, comic, curly or tooltip.

Any idea why this happens and how to get rid of it? Doesn't happen on the caption bubbles however.

Here's what I'm seeing.
