Since I updated Ubuntu 14.04 yesterday, the desktlet terminal is black with a contour. The transparency properties are not applied as well.
Screenshot of the issue:
The dock runs without issue.
I am running Cairo-Dock 3.4.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 with NVIDIA GTX 870M and the 340.46 driver version.
Anyone seen this before? Any idea what it could be and what I could do?
Thanks,
Marc-Andre |

I see this was updated: libglib2.0-0:amd64 2.40.2-0ubuntu1 2.40.2-0ubuntu1
Could it be related?

Hello,
Is it better without the new GTK version from Elementary OS daily PPA? |

Hello Mattbe,
I did not roll-back yes, I will keep the forum update based on the change to see if it corrects. |

Hello Mattbe,
I just restored my previous image of a pretty much standard Ubuntu 14.04.
The transparency does not apply. Now, I do not have the top grey bar around the terminal, but there is no transparency on the window, so it is black for now!
I can try it with a new deployment as necessary. All other things are working properly on my machine regarding transparency.
Any idea? |

Are you able to select a transparent colour for the background with this version? If yes, I don't know why it's not working... Maybe GTK? The drivers? Something else? |
