Been some time since I last posted...

I recently bought a new laptop and installed Ubuntu 14.04 on it. After a couple of weeks of tweaking the config I have finally decided to install a proper dock

So I installed the BZR version of the dock and it all went well. No errors during compilation

I then logged out and tried to log again using the Cairo-Dock session but it doesn't seem to work

I end up with a empty screen instead of my preferred dock

I have to kill the session to recover....if I choose the unity session then I can launch the dock inside it....but this is not what I want!

any idea?

Can you check if 'gnome-session' is installed?

I don't know if I have to add it to the script (e.g.: KDE users don't need it but I could install it only for GNOME users)

By the way, the Frog is back in UK since a month....The Canadian adventure is over for me!

Et comment vas-tu faire??? Ne plus pouvoir aller tous les WE skier tout près de chez toi?

mais bon il n'y a pas que le plaisir dans la vies et le rapprochement de la famille est un plus!

BTW j'ai ajouté 'gnome-session' dans les paquets nécessaires automatiquement installés par le script si l'utilisateur est sur Ubuntu avec GNOME
