it seems to do what we are trying to accomplish in our way, and that if you run gimmie, you don't need to run either awn or cairo-dock ... |

Well, Gimmie is actually 4 plugins for a dock.
Gimmi Apps, People, Docs and Computer
When it works its really great.
Its also rather heavy development for some of Gimmies functions.
The key issue is to get rid of Gnomes terrible panels....
So Gimmie on a dock is something extra.... |

then we should propose them to make a plug-in for cairo-dock
except if someone here knows about Gimmie and want to do it of course. |
