Hi,

I am currently running cairo-dock.x86_64 0:2.4.0.2-2.fc17, which I got from RPMFusion, but I'm experiencing some weird errors and thought I'd upgrade. So I following the directions in the wiki on this site and received this error:

mswallow@mes-pc ~$ sudo yum install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plugins

You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Any suggestions?

hmm, try to install libdbusmenu-gtk3 before
I don't know why it doesn't install it automatically though, I'll check that out

Guest, Tuesday 16 April 2013 à 23:40

Where do I find that rpm? libdbusmenu-gtk3?

Guest, Tuesday 16 April 2013 à 23:49

Oh, I do have gtk3 installed: Package gtk3-3.6.4-1.fc18.x86_64 already installed and latest version

libdbusmenu-gtk3 is also on our repository
you should just need to yum install libdbusmenu-gtk3

I have Cairo-Dock repository in my list and have refreshed. So I'm not finding this package. What am I doing wrong?

I didn't update the repoview, but the repodata should be ok (well it's probably not but I don't know why yet )

Guest, Tuesday 23 April 2013 à 18:28

I get the same message when I try to run: sudo yum install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plugins

I was able to get the dock installed by leaving "cairo-dock-plugins" off. Any suggestions on how to get the plugins installed?

Thanks

Having same issue trying to install cairo dock 3.2, wondering if it has been fixed yet for fedora?

And it's not possible to temporary install these packages one by one:

@fabounet: is it maybe possible to re-update this repos? (maybe libdbusmenu packages are not in the DB). According to the files in 'repodata', only the sources files of libdbusmenu is available: http://download.tuxfamily.org/glxdock/repository/fedora/fedora-18/SRPMS/libdbusmenu-12.10.2-1.fc18.src.rpm

I was able to download the 3.2.1-1 version from here:

64bits: http://download.tuxfamily.org/glxdock/repository/fedora/fedora-18/x86_64/

and install them, successfully.
