Hello,
i have a stupid bug in my Cairo Dock. When i right-click on Cairo-dock and select configuration --- > text shown on dialog window is hidden when i try to select it.

For example if i try to select icon dimension window, text is not shown under pointer arrow but all is white... This happens for all window where i try to select something !!

I think this is only a stupid bug but i don't know how to resolve.
I have Ubuntu 12.04 + Gnome Shell 3.4.1 ( i tried also unity ) + Cairo Dock 3.1.1

How can i resolve it ?
Thanks.

Really strange. There is maybe a bug with your GTK theme. Is it possible to test another one?

Thanks you matttbe. I will subscribe to the forum asap...
So i reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and this time i am using unity with cairo dock 3.1.1 and Ambince defalt theme.
So in the menu config of cairo dock i can see white text on gray fill. If i right click on cairo dock and choose Lock all items it is white on standard orange fill, but if i use Thunderbird it is white on white again...
Is it possible to change color text of color menu fill on Cairo Dock?
Hope this helps you to debug it.

No, you have to change the GTK theme (Ambiance).

Note that there are also other bugs with this theme. E.g:

This bug has already been rapported to light-theme devs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-themes/+bug/968133 (Fixed on Quantal but not on Precise, feel free to add a new message )
And this package fixes this bug: https://launchpad.net/~matttbe/+archive/ppa/+files/light-themes_0.1.9.2-0ubuntu3%7Eprecise_all.deb (but I don't know if it fixes your bug)
