Hi,

is there a way to find out which code represents which town? The problem is that I have found a city-code, but as there are several cities in my home country with the same name I don't know if the one I found is the correct one.

Is there a way to check for the actual position of a town with a certain code? Or to create one on some website for a given location?

Yes, there is a way since weather applet uses Weather.com. Personally, I go to weather.com and then you search for your city. Lets use here "Salvador, Brazil". Then it redirects you to "http://www.weather.com/weather/right-now/Salvador+Brazil+BRXX3272", this "BRXX3272" part of the URL you ended up when searching for your place is the code you are looking for. Open the config panel of the Weather applet, and there you've got hte Configuration tab. Inside this tab you have a field to put the code you've found. "Apply" and you are good to go.

I don't know if the one I found is the correct one.

just apply this code, and compare the applet's weather with the current one outside
