I've had a persistent problem thru many versions of Ubuntu with a simple Doncky desklet.
The background for the system sensors I have created with Screenlets is a Doncky desklet.The problem I'm having is that the free memory count will freeze for no apparent reason.

I have tried changing the position of the font,align and color statements but that doesnt seem to help.I also tried moving the desklet away from the screenlets (standalone on the desktop) to no avail

not a lot of ideas

what if you resize the desklt with ALT + middle-click ? does it update the drawing ?
does it work with for instance the current time ?
