Hi everyone and thanks a lot for your great work!!!

Well, I got some ideas / request and I hope it won'r be too hard to get them work.

First of all the quick browser: I always use it with my dock but i think it's not very beautiful. Would be possible to make it like tha KDE stackfolder plasma-widget? The last version of it (http://www.koryavov.net/2012/06/new-features-in-klook-and-stackfolder.html) also support the DnD function, that would be very usefull! Do you think it's possible?
I can do something similar, using the folder applet with the "slide" view, but i can't browse the file with that
And the slide view too i think it need to be improved a little bit XD

Let's spieak about unity. I tried the unity interface and i think that the unity dash and the HUD menu are very usefull, but i really can't stand the unity dock! Well, unity is a compiz plugin, so i don't know if it's possible or not, but could you try to integrate it in the cairo-dock?

Thanks a lot for your time and work!!!

Yes, Folder is maybe better to have the slide view. About the slide view, don't hesitate to propose a mockup, it's maybe better to discuss about the modifications
Drag'n Drop feature for QuickBrowser is supported in the current development version

Well, unity is a compiz plugin, so i don't know if it's possible or not, but could you try to integrate it in the cairo-dock?
Currently, it's not possible but feel free to report this problem to Unity devs, it can be interesting to integrate the dash. (About the Global Menu and the Hud, it's maybe possible to create an applet for that but it needs time or someone to do that )

the goal of Quick-browser is to go very fast; with a classic nautilus-like browser, you can't (have to click on each folder); you can only get that with a menu.

since the Dash is a real window, I think there is no real issue to make it a separate process that could be called by any program.
but that's a request you should make to the Unity devs.
