I am bumfuzzled with a small tweak I'm trying to do. I am trying to add a custom launcher for Nautilus, to my dock project to make it complete. I have searched the web and all the basic channels on glx-dock.org to no avail.
I have tried all the solution ideas I have found, but no luck. Here is what I have tested in the command box, " nautilus --no-desktop", "nautilus", "/usr/share/nautilus", set and tried keyboard shortcuts, tried some terminal type commands and so on. Does anyone have a fail proof way of creating custom launcher for directly opening nautilus file browser? |

Hello,
Did you try with "nautilus ." or "nautilus /path/to/a/dir"? And if you use this shortkey Shift + left click.
(Note that you can also use Quickbrowser or Folder applets ) |

yep, you have to specify a path to the nautilus command !
this sounds awkward, but is needed since 1 or 2 years ago.
so this command should work:
replace the dot with /home/your-user-name if it still doesn't work. |
