Both DBus Animate and DemandsAttention methods require a string that describes the effect to be used. On the documentation, I saw examples with both "default", and "fire". I would like to know what is the complete list of strings to the effects, or where I can find them. Thanks. |

Here are the name in the config files. I hope they are correct as I don't find them in the DBus applet.
Animated-icons : [Bounce;Rotate;Blink;Pulse;Wobbly;Wave;Spot]
icon-effect : [Fire;Stars;Rain;Snow;Storm;Firework]
illusion : [Evaporate;Fade out;Explode;Break;Black Hole;Random] |

@SQP: Thanks a lot. I ended up that Doing Things Right™ does not rely on the list of possible animations. But anyway, it is good to know what are them. Thanks again. |

I don't know how you managed it, but "default" sounds a good choice
(I personally hove none enabled so would never see anything) |

Yes, I did exactly that, 'default'. Yes, me too, nothing enabled. Thanks. |

indeed "default" is the right choice, because it will use the animation defined by the user in the config.
I think it's the "on click" animation, which is most probably defined (it would be weird to not have any animation on click) |
