Have recently added Cairo-Dock 2.4.0~2 To a fresh install of Mint 12 utilizing LMDE.

Having installed the "Mail Plugin (v1.09)" I'm finding that the unread mails number display is inconsistent and the "Mark E-mails as Read" function doesn't actually mark the mail as read.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, is there a known fix?

Thanks in anticipation

Hello and thank you for this bug report,

Do you use the POP protocol to consult your mail? If yes, the POP protocol doesn't support the read/unread status. So you've to manually set to the Mail applet that your mails are read.

Ahhh....Didn't know that, many thanks for the prompt response. The inconsistent behavior with unread E-mails is now solved. I inadvertently had turned on the option in Thunderbird to keep a copy of E-mail on the server. Turning that off has resulted in normal behavior of the Mail Applet.

Thanks again for your input
