One of the most useful applets' is the Mail applet.

I have a wish for a new option in the Configuration Settings. It is in the 'Action on new mail' part. There is an option to show new messages' content and also you can specify for how long this "preview" shall be displayed. As it is now this setting is limited to 30 seconds.

What I would like to see is an option that you could select to have the 'Content Dialog' to be viewed until you put the mouse pointer on it and make a left button click.

This should be very useful if you are away from the computer (and perhaps it is on screensaver) and when you return you could easily see that there is a new mail and then read the new messages' content.

One more wish: It would be very useful if the new messages' content would pop up and be displayed when the mouse pointer is hovered over the mail applet icon when there is a new message.

I would be very happy if my wishes could be added, thanks.

This should be very useful if you are away from the computer (and perhaps it is on screensaver) and when you return you could easily see that there is a new mail and then read the new messages' content.

I see, indeed an "infinite timelength" is possible.
however, I have to say that you can already see that a new message has arrived while you were away, because (IIRC) the icon will animate until you read the message.

you mean not automatically, but only when hovering (or maybe clicking) the icon, to not disturb you ?
