Hello,

There are several things to do before the 2.4.0 release and even if you're not a developer, you can easily help us:

Writing
A few wiki pages have to be improved, created and/or translated.

How to help us => I've written a table of content, feel free to complete it (even only one sentence )
Ads => an announcement for the next stable release (if it's possible, 2 versions: an 'official' and another for blogs)
Follow Us => a new wiki page that explain how to follow us => twitter, identi.ca, blog (en, fr), announcements on Launchpad and on our new Mailing-List => http://glx-dock.org/mailing-list.php, archive: http://listengine.tuxfamily.org/glx-dock.org/cairo-dock-list/

Translations
Cairo-Dock core, plug-ins and plug-ins extras (third-party) projects have to be translated. Don't hesitate to have a look there: https://translations.launchpad.net/cairo-dock
For french users: core (121), plug-ins (24) and extras (134)

@ fabounet: can you re-generate the translations? Because I've a few errors with your 'cairo-dock-extract-message' script (also, it produces this file instead of 'messages' files: "$'\001'P\?@@$'\035'$'\032'il")

now we're in RC, although I know the TODO list is still sooo long

at least I don't think there is any regression from the 2.3, if there is any, thanks to report them.

@ fabounet: is it possible to re-update the translations? (a few sentences have changed yesterday in the core and it seems translations for plug-ins and third-party plug-ins are not up to date)

Hello,

The next stable version (2.4.0) is expected for the end of this week (e.g. Friday).
Please help us to test this version and report any bugs! And if it's possible, help us to fully translate the dock and to full in the wiki (see the first post).
