I really dont understand why you guys dont merge all these options into 1 and call it stacks .This applet would have the option to put folder in it(which by the way we should be able to open within the stack itself like in macs dock or even in object dock or even rocket dock or even docky!!!)You could also run applications from it and put some files like text or something like that.I think this would be far more convenient and simple for newcomers but it would be also looking much much better and most importantly it would be a lot more useful and productive.I think its this sort of stuff you guys should be working on and not some completely useless stuff like "quote of the day" applet or something like that. Its these sort of maybe even simple things that would make cairo dock rock!So please consider this and tell me your opinion which as i hope is not going to be short and cold-blooded.Peace!!!

Stack and Folders are 2 different applets:
Folder: drop a folder inside the dock, and you can see inside and act on the files (I hope that later we can have more actions and a navigation inside the folders).
Stack: drop anything inside the dock to access it quickly later; it may be folders but you don't really want to see inside them.
it can also be anything else (web pages or piece of text).

so it's not exactly the same usage.

PS: I love the Quotes applet

But you can put everything into the stack applet.
So... if you want to not have an organised dock, you use many stack applets

I personnaly don't feel useful to be able to place launchers inside the Stack. I mean you have the dock for it already, who would want to mix everything into a single dock or sub-dock ?
dock is for launcher, stack is to access files/url quickly, and folders is a mini file-manager.
my personnal thought is that Folders could be better and do more, and that Stack does its job well
