No
It's just that fabounet is currently re-writing some functions in the code in order to optimized them
But he breaks everything, the dock is unusable... so he doesn't push his modifications. |

héhé, sorry for the lack of push recently, as Matttbe said I've broken the whole core
The main reason is to have a clean core lib. This is actually a work in progress for several months already, and I could keep things working until now, but to finish the work I have to break the low-level functions, and since the 2.2.0 is quite stable, I thought I could let the project live on it for a few time.
the result will be a smaller and more object-oriented core, which is not mendatory, but is more satisfying for me
don't worry I have plenty of ideas in mind ! (see https://blueprints.launchpad.net/cairo-dock) |

Salut fabounet,
I am in no hurry
I was just wondering...
Better to get things working the way you guys want than have us push you into releases
So...I can deal with the current bzr release

fabounet : yep, zeitgeist will be in the party ;)
Have you talked to the developpers on #zeitgest on IRC. If you talk with them about zeitgest integration into the dock we might have a post on planet ubuntu and planet gnome. This guy gives regular updates on how the project is growing. So you might want to talk to him to improve our dock and do some advertising :-D. |
