Hello everyone!

I'm planning to switch to OpenSuse from Ubuntu in a month. But I don't want to lose all these great features from the latest betas of the CD.
Does anybody know repo with builds of the beta versions of the CD for OpenSuse?

Hello,

Franksuse64 uses OpenSUSE 64bits with KDE and he has to compile CD with sources from BZR in order to test all beta releases but it's really easy => wiki

Just to note that Frank has reported a few bugs due to KDE environment and other special packages of OpenSUSE. But OpenSUSE has its advantages

A few bugs???? A huge load of bugs, yes! lollll

Correct, there were quite a few weird things going on with KDE and as far as I believe I can tell you that today, now, about 15mins ago, all of them are solved! Tnx to matttbe and fab.

I checked the wiki and matttbe updated the steps. Tested under 64-bits KDE opensuse and working. Certainly works under 32-bits as well.

Maybe matttbe we could add the rm -rf build/ in the update section, along with the bzr up?

Thx, I've forgotten to copy this sentence:
Remove the content of build directories and recompile Cairo-Dock and its plug-ins with the same commands as the previous box.

Hi, I try compiling CD in opensuse 11.3, but have error: "/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.5/../../../libgdk-x11-2.0.so: undefined reference to `g_source_set_name'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status". What is it?

PS. May be somebody have rpm package for opensuse 11.3

Is that from the bzr version (2.2beta) or the 2.1.3?

I have to test the bzr on 11.3, I don't know yet if it works, same for 2.1.3.

I believe packman would have an updated version for 11.3, though. What a bunch of losers, they didn't update for 11.3 yet! You may try the one from 11.2, it's possible it would work, but nothing is guaranteed!

This problem in both versions, from bzr and 2.1.3.
I will try to install from opensuse 11.2

Hi, previous Guest it`s me.
Well, I installed CD 2.1.3 from opensuse 11.2 into 11.3. But it needs next specific rpm packages: db4-4.8.30-2.fc14.i686.rpm libetpan-1.0-1.fc14.i686.rpm libxklavier15-4.0-2.1.i586.rpm. And in finish its works!
