Cairo-dock version 2.13-8
Compiz version 0.7.4
Debian Lenny 5.0.4

Upgrade from 2.0.8 to 2.13-8 using wiki instruction for Debian Lenny

I have multiple desktop but cairo-dock only shows on the number one desktop

Open position checked xinerama and set the number of desktops

Searched synaptic and found libxinerama 1 installed

Rebooted system after making changes

The dock will not unhide on the other desktops

I can switch desktop either byusig switcher or from the taskbar and it does not make any changes. http://www.glx-dock.org/images/smileys/ubu-sad.png

multiple desktops or multiple screens ?
Xinerama is for when you have a dual-screen.

ok so you shouldn't use the Xinerama option then, it is made for people who have several monitors and want to place the dock on a given one.
do you still have the bugs after disabling Xinerama ?

Switched to always on top...Dock still not available on other desktops

Resized call back zone from 750x4 to 850x20 ...still no dock on desktop 2

can you try to set an image for the callback zone, so that we can know if the dock is here and not responsive, or definitely not here ?

Hidden Dock

Filename of image to put on

Current_theme/indicator-yellow-scroll.svg

Image on desktop 1 but not on any other desktops

Desktop 1 still working properly but nothing on other desktops

After leaving the forum and going to other forums

I tried the dock on other desktops and they are now working

Have no idea why or what happened

All's well that ends well
