Hi!

I think there should be the possibility to add a "maximum number of displayed items" option to containers watching folders (though possibly I just didn't find it ^^). Today I tried to add my download folder to the dock, and it managed to display all 364 files in it... but clearly it was useless, as they were all microscopic.

Also, is there a way to change the sub-dock view on a per-container basis? Other options should be per-container too in my opinion: icon size and sorting are the most natural that come to my mind. I would sort downloads by date, but maybe other folders by name.

Cheers!

Hi,
well the view is the one you defined for sub-docks in the config panel.
So except if you want to set a different view for several folders, there is no really need to add the option in the folder icon's config.

About the number of icons and sorting, they could be per folder indeed. Thanks for the idea, I'll try to add it.
